Three go missing in Narayani River flood
Chitwan, July 23 – Three persons from Gaidakot of Nawalparasi have gone missing after the flooded Narayani River ravaged its environs.
Prem Rai, Mohan Rai and Sajan Rai from Gaidakot-6, who had gone to a community forest near the river to collect grass and woods, disappeared after the river floods, said the Area Police Office, Gaidakot.
Although the locals and security person continued search, they have not found the missing ones.
Meanwhile, the water level in the Narayani River reached the record high on Monday.
According to Water Level Measurement Centre of Debghat, the water level in the Narayani River reached as high as 9.46-metre.
Although 200 houses were inundated with the floods on Monday, decrease in water level has given relief to the people here. RSS
