Dahal meets Baidya

Kathmandu, July 19 – UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal met CPN-Maoist Chairman Mohan Baidya on Friday morning.
During the meeting, the duo held discussion on the letter sent by the HLPC to the alliance requesting them to come to the talks table to ensure a successful conduction of the second Constituent Assembly polls slated for November 19.
The meeting comes after the CPN-Maoist and its allies, 33 parties that have been opposing the election s, agreed to sit for talks with the HLPC .
The decision follows HLPC Coordinator Dahal’s willingness to sit for unconditional dialogue and the panel’s invite on Wednesday.
