Number of voters in Jajarkot decrease

Jajarkot, July 18 – The number of voters in Jajarkot district this time has been less by 32, 044 than the number in first Constituent Assembly ( CA ) election. This was because of the biometric voters list with photos.
Now the voters in the district are 65,246, said Election Office Chief Ganesh Singh. In the first CA , there were 97, 300 voters.
It is clear that all did not come to enlist their names, said Prakash Chand of NGO Federation Democratic.
This was also because most of the people went to Dolpa for picking Yarsa Gumba during the time of voters list updating, said Chand.
Some have also gone to foreign countries for jobs.
