Subash Nirola appointed acting CEO of NTB

Kathmandu, July 17 – Subash Nirola has been appointed as acting Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB).

The 187th executive committee meeting the board held on July 15, 2013 has appointed Nirola as acting CEO, according to the press statement issued by the board on Wednesday.

Nirola who was working as officiating CEO of NTB, has now also become the Member Secretary of the board.

Nirola joined NTB as a director in 1999 and was senior most director prior to being appointed as officiating CEO.

After the appointment, he expressed commitment to steer the board in a new and positive direction. Nirola said the process of revamping the marketing strategy of NTB has already started by soliciting suggestion from travel trade industry to make it effective and result oriented.
