Property around Rs. 200,000 gutted at the Yeti Mountain Resort

Kathmandu, July 16 – A huge fire has broken out at theYeti Mountain Resort Fakding, Chaurikharka VDC-9, in Sulukhumbu district since Tuesday morning.
The fire had engulfed the kitchen, dining room, stores, and the staff-room. It is suspected that the resort caught fire after the LP Gas cylinder exploded while preparing meal.
Meanwhile, property worth around Rs. 200,000 was gutted after a house caught fire in Patthargada of Saptari district.
According to the East Regional Police Office, the fire started after a nearby object caught lit mosquito coil and latter swallowed house of Sabikul Miyan, of Patthargadha VDC-3, on last night.
The house, cash, food, and other belongings worth around Rs. 200,000 was reduced to ash, said police. Locals and police worked together to extinguished the fire.
