Taxi fare rises by 15.6%

Kathmandu, July 16 – Nepal government has increased the taxi fare by 15.6 percentage. The per kilometer fare of taxi has been increased by 5 rupees.
The per kilometer taxi fare was 32 ruppes previously and it is raised to 37 rupees. The transportation department has said to implement the new price from today. Due to the increase in petrol price and to give proper salary to the taxi driver the department has taken this decision.
