Araniko Highway faces strike

Banepa, July 11 – The Araniko Highway Struggle Committee has called Araniko Highway banda on Thursday protesting the decision of pulling down houses on either sides of the highway.
There has been total impact of banda along around 114-kilometers long highway from Bhaktapur to Sindhupalchowk. The BP Highway has also been affected following the Araniko Highway banda. Banepa Bazaar has remained closed but some educational institutions are in operation, said police.
