India to provide 764 vechiles to Nepal during election

Kathmandu, July 9 – A Memorandum of Understanding was signed to provide 764 vehicles for the upcoming Constituent Assembly election. Finance Secretary Shantaraj Subedi and Indian envoy Jayanta Prasad signed the MoU at Singhadurbar.
According to news report in times of india, As many as 716 will go to Nepal's home ministry and rest 48 will be given to Election Commission of Nepal. The vehicles donated by India to be used by Nepali security agencies during the polls are worth Rs 800 million.
During the 2008 election also India had donated 500 various types of vehicles to Nepal(as per the report of TOI).
