Inadequate ranfall affects paddy cultivation in Morang

Biratnagar, July 6 – At the time, a country is having flood in most of it's part, the eastern part of Nepal however is facing drought at the season of rainfall. The eastern part of Nepal is facing trouble after the inadequate rain.
Due to the drought this year, Morang district has cultivated paddy only in 9% of the its cultivated area. Morang has altogether 1 lakhs 7 thousands hector land suitable for the cultivation. Among them only 8 thousand and 50 hector land has been cultivated.- ( Report by District Agriculture Office,Morang. )
The district agriculture office has also informed that by the end of the Ashad, Morang will have to cultivate 70% of the total cultivable land. The unavilability of the irrigation facility has caused the problem in Morang district.
