Water supply traders undergoing discussion with Gov.
Kathmandu, June 30 – Government and the water supply traders are on meeing today since 2:00pm. Water supply traders had called an indefinite strike in Kathmandu valley since Thursday.
As per the Joint Struggle Committee of Nepal Water Supply Corporation, their demand to government is to certify the quality of tanker for water supply, proper management system, and to compensate the licensed water supply company at the time of its closing or on transeferring its location.
The committee had pressured government since Baishak however it never showed its interest to fulfill their demand. Due to the water suppy strike, people have been suffering. Hotels, hospitals and industrial sector in the valley have been more affected.
