I am ready to quit the party post: Dr. Bhattarai

Kathmandu, June 29 – On the party’s Central Committee meeting, UCPN-Maoist Vice Chairman Dr. Baburam Bhattarai has said that he is ready to step down from the party post for the sake of party.

 

He has expressed  his views on the dossier presented by Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Dr. Bhattarai, said he was ready to quit the party post.

 

“Person ambitions are rife at the party at present. So I am ready to step down from the party post, for the betterment of party,” a Maoist leader quoted to Bhattarai as saying in the meeting.The CC meeting remained indecisive today over the party portfolio after several leaders staked claimed to plum party positions.
