Nepal being dependent for medicine production

Kathmandu, June 29 – The medicine consumption in Nepal is increasing. Within the 10 months of the current fiscal year, medicine of rupees 13 arba and 1o crore has been imported.

 

Medicine around Rs.10 arba 87 crore and 28 lakhs has been imported from india only. From other country medicine of 2 arba 22 crore and 53 lakhs rupees is imported.

 

Nepalese medicine production has also been increased in Nepal. Nepal has been producing 40% of medicine. Altogher 3 hundred and three national ad international company is producing medicine in Nepal. Among them 2 hundred and 58 company is being run by foreigners.
