Vajra academy, celebrating Paddy cultivation day with students

Kathmandu, June 29 – Nepals first green and eco friendly  school, "Vajra Academy" has organized paddy cultivation programme inside schhol compound. The school in the programme had involvement of the principal, teachers, school staffs and students. The cultivation programme is followed by curd and beatenrice eating ceremony.

 

According to the vice principal of the school – Udit bhatta, the programme is not new to them, school has been doing such programme scince 2 years. They have organized the programme to make students neareer to the living.

 

One of the student of the school – Subodh Nepal, answering his experience with aarthiknews said that," I was very excited and happy to participate in it. We can understand how is it to be a farmer and we understand the process of sowing paddy. So, i really like it".

 

Next student, Asmita Bhandari told that,"Its good that we learn to preserve culture and at the same time know how it's done. I felt happy!"

 

Vice principal bhatta further stated that, the need of todays education is  not only to provide only theoritical knowledge but  students should be let be familier with our cultures and external environment.
