Minister Poudel calls for creating poll environment

Kathmandu, June 29 –  Madhav Prasad Poudel (Minister for Information and Communications) has said the political parties, civil society and media should play a role in creating election environment for the next Constituent Assembly elections.

 

Concluding the seven-day basic journalism training organized by the Newa Journalists National Dabu in association with the Lalitpur Sub Metropolis here today, he said people should take election as their sovereign right.

 

He also said fixing of election date by making concrete preparations for election in three months by a government formed in special circumstances is an achievement.

 

Minister Poudel said task force report on making media inclusive is being studied and all media will be made inclusive.
