Court stays IB’s chief Aryal’s ouster

Kathmandu, June 20 – The Supreme Court has issued a stay order directing the Insurance Board (IB) not to remove its executive director Binod Aryal from the post for now.
A single bench of officiating Chief Justice Damodar Prasad Sharma issued the stay order Wednesday. The IB had decided to sack Aryal for alleged irregularities.
The apex court has called both the IB and Aryal for hearing next week.
