13 years girl raped in Siraha

   
Siraha, June 18 –  A 13-year-old girl has become the latest victim of rape at Chikana Village Development Committee (VDC) in Siraha district.

Police have arrested Suresh Yadav, 33, of the same place on the charge of raping the girl while she was working alone in the field on Monday evening.

The crime came to light after the girl informed her parents of the incident. The girl´s parents then reported the incident to the Area Police Office, Kalyanpur.

The accused Suiresh is said to be absconding after the incident and police have started a search for him. The girl has been taken to the District Hospital Siraha for medical check-up.
