Budget will help move economy towards productivity: FM

Kathmandu, June 13 – Finance Minister Sankhar Koirala said that the new budget for the next fiscal year 2013/14 will pave the way towards productivity economy.
During the meeting with Television Editors’ Guild in the capital on Wednesday, FM Koirala said though the new budget may not change the status of whole economy, it will help move the economy toward productive economy.
Koirala also reiterated that new budget will be introduced without political ideology and focus on development. The main priority of the budget is energy, followed by infrastructure development, agriculture, tourism among others, he added.
