SLC 2069 results published,41.57 percent pass

Kanthmandu, June 11 – The Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE), Sanothimi has published the results of School Leaving Certificate (SLC) exams on Tuesday.

The OCE informed that 41.57 per cent students succeeded in the exams, considered as the iron gate of the school level education. Last year the percentage of students who passed the examination was 47.16 percent.

Out of 5,11,165 examinees across the country, only 1,76,253–1,67,935 (41.57%) under the regular category and 8318 (7.76%) in the exempted category– passed out this year.

Among the regular students, 16,924 passed out in distinction with flying colours; 76,165 in first division; 69,830 in the second division, and 5016 passed in third division, the OCE said.
Results of 818 students have been withheld due to technical reasons, while 6967 had dropped out. As many as 60 were expelled and the results of 230 examinees have been cancelled
