Rs 20mln bail set for Parshuram Basnet

Kathmandu, June 10 – The Special Court on Monday set a bail amount of Rs 20 million for Parshuram Basnet, who is indicted of accumulating assets worth multimillion through criminal activities.

After a preliminary hearing, the Court, however, ordered to release his wife Anju Basnet on general date in the money laundering case.

Also an influential leader CPN-UML’s youth wing Youth Association Nepal, Basnet is accused of accumulating assets worth Rs 116.01 million.
