Two arrested with huge amount of IC notes

Rautahat, June 10 – The Armed Police Force (APF) here has arrested two people with huge amount of Indian and Nepali currency notes from Gaur Municipality on Sunday evening.
The currency notes were found hidden under the seat of the Pulsar motorbike the two were riding, the APF´s Seema Surakshya Bal Gaur office stated. The motorcycle had the registration number BR 30 E 6791.
Those arrested in this connection are Bijaya Kushwaha of Gaur Municipality-9 and Om Prakash Chaudhary, a resident of Bairganiya-4, an Indian town near the Nepal0India border here, according to the police.
A patrol team of the APF Seema Surakshya Bal, Gaur apprehended the two men with Nepali currency notes worth three million 882 thousand and 400 rupees and Indian currency notes worth 500 thousand rupees. The Indian currency notes were in four bundles of notes of five hundred rupees denomination and two bundles of thousand rupees denomination notes. The five hundred denomination Indian currency notes are banned in the country.
