RSI urged withdraw general strike due to industrial loss
Butwal, June 6 – The Rupandehi Industry Association(RSI) has urged the different agitating groups to withdraw the general strike and other types of protest programmes at a time when the industries are on the verge of closure due to the power cuts and extortion by various organizations.
In a press release today, the association said that the climate for smooth operation of the industries was minimum owing to the prolonged political crisis and the absence of appropriate policies and Acts.
A situation has arisen in which the industrialists and entrepreneurs are facing various hardships and they are not in a position to run the industries due to the frequent closure of industries and factories under different pretexts, the association stated, urging all sides to take this situation in mind and refrain from activities that hinder the industrial climate.
