NOC projects beares loss of Rs. 33.8 m

Kathmandu, June 3 – The monthly projected loss of the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) will stand at Rs. 33.8 million in the month of June.
As per the revised price list sent by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) on June 1, the corporation will get profit of Rs. 8.93 per litre in petrol and Rs. 16.08 per litre in kerosene while it will incur loss of Rs. 363.84 per cylinder in LPG and Rs. 0.58 per litre in diesel.
Similarly, NOC will make profit in aviation fuel in both domestic and international purposes by Rs. 27.30 per litre and Rs. 32.03 per litre respectively.
In the previous month, the corporation had made profit of Rs. 11.43 per litre in petrol, Rs. 2.11 per litre in diesel, Rs. 15.85 per litre in kerosene and Rs. 26.9 per litre in aviation fuel.
However, it had to face a loss of Rs. 439.5 per cylinder in cooking gas.
