10 killed and 25 injured in Sindhupalchwok bus Accident

Sindhupalchwok, May 29 –  At least 10 people were killed on the spot and 25 others injured when a passenger bus skidded off the road and veered off some 100 meters here in Chilaunekharka , Changpalkot VDC of the district on Wednesday.

According to rescuers, the death toll could rise further as the rescue operation is underway.

According to a local and rescuer, the identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained.

A team of police has just reached to the incident site from nearby Manekharka police station. It hs been estimated that a total of 70 passengers were in the bus when the incident happened.

The ill-feted bus, which was on its way to Kathmandu from Bhotang of the district, met with accident at around 9 am.
