Actual taxi fares to be included in hoarding board

Kathmadnu, May 28  – Metropolitan Traffic Police Division (MTPD) after launchng  an SMS service that provides the actual taxi rates has made the crieteria more flexible to general public. Now general people can get the information  regarding taxi fare on hoarding board as well .

 

Regarding sms service, A person can know the taxi fare based on the distance they have traveled by sending taxirate<space>location<space>to<space>location to 4321.

 

Accroding to Metropolitan Traffic Police, Division hoarding board will be kept at 5 main places inside kahmadu valley. The hoarding board place includes Balaju, Kalanki, koteshwor and Gaushala. The board shows the taxi fare to different places from the mentioned  major route.

 

Traffic police has brought this plan to avoid fraud to general public.
