Dahal meets Regmi

Kathmandu, May 28 – Chairman of the Interim Election Council, Khil Raj Regmi , and Chairman of the UCPN (Maoist), Pushpa Kamal Dahal, held talks at the latter's official residence in Baluwatar on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the duo discussed a range of issues regarding the election process and latest political situation, said Chairman Regmi's Press Advisor, Rajendra Pandey.
They discussed the efforts being made to forge consensus regarding the contents of the electoral ordinances proposed by the Election Commission for the Constituent Assembly (CA) election and announcement of date for the same.
It has been learnt that the duo exchanged views on the works of the government and the political parties needed to do for ensuring an environment for the election . RSS
