34 injured in road mishap in Ilam

Ilam, May 27 – At least 34 people have been injured in a road accident at Bargol of Sakhejung-7 in Ilam district along the Mechi Highway this afternoon.
Of the injured, condition of 23 is critical, said police.
The accident took place when a bus (Me 1 Kha 505) heading towards Sunsari from Taplejung fell 50 meters off the road, said Police Inspector, Kabindra Karki.
The bus was carrying a team of the Central Cooperatives Association. All the injured are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital, Ilam.
Identity of the injured is yet to be ascertained and cause behind the accident is not known yet, said police. No human casualty has been reported yet
