Tourists robbed in Taplegunj

Taplegunj, May 25 – Some 17 American tourists were robbed here at Hangdeva VDC while returning from the district headquarters at 12 pm on Saturday night. They were taking rest at a shade at the time they were robbed . 

 

Some cash and camera sets were looted by the robbers.

 

Police have arrested four people in connection with the robbery.

 

The arrestees are Roshan Limbu,13, Birhang Maden,16, Kumar Shrestha,13, Suresh Maden,14 and Prakash Maden 14, of Hangdeva VDC -3, said  DSP Govinda Prasad Shresth. RSS
