kathmandu to face rainfall for more three days
Kathmandu, May 23 – Kathmandu valley faced the heaviest rainfall within passed 24 hours in the month of May.
The yesterday's rain overwhelmed lot of areas in Kathmandu valley. According to weather department it has been the heaviest rainfall in record of May month till now.
The heaviest rainfall in the month of May was recorded on 1990 A.D – May 29. On 1990 total 73.2 millimeter rainfall was recorded. Within passed 24 hours the rainfall was recorded to be 1 hundred and 5 millimeter.
According to whether expert Shanti kandel the heaviest rainfall occurred due to combination of monsoon wind from Bengal and local wind pressure at a same point occured.
According to the weather department the rain would last for three days more in hilly region of Nepal. The rain is predicted to fall at day and evening time.
The temperature on Friday morning is 22 degree Celsius and it is expected to reach 28 to 30 degree Celsius on day time.
