Army chief to visit China

Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Gen Gaurav Shumsher Rana will embark on his first official visit to China from June 13 to 20.

Gen Rana is visiting China at the invitation of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.

During his eight-day visit, CoAS Rana is scheduled to hold meeting with the Chinese political and military leadership including his counterpart and discuss strengthening military-to-military ties and security relations between the two countries.
