Mt. Everest Diamond Jubilee Marathon to be held on June 7

Kathmandu, May 23 – The Mt. Everest Diamond Jubilee Marathon Competition is going to be organised by the Journalists Association of Tourism (JAT).
A total of 100 male and female journalists would compete in the competition. The winners of first, second and third position in women's and men's category would receive Rs. 5,000, Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 2,000 respectively.
The competition is to be held under the slogan 'We media persons in heritage preservation campaign'.
The marathon would be started from Basantapur Durbar Square and will be concluded after reaching Basantapur after going through different parts of town including New Road, Ratna Park, Jamal and Bhadrakali. RSS
