Nepali Congress to mark May 24 as equity day

Kathmandu, May 21 – A meeting of the Nepali Congress held under the chairmanship of party president Sushil Koirala on Monday decided to mark May 24 as equity day.

The party has prepared a slogan titled ´Establishment of Society Free of Untouchability and Discrimination: Nepali Congress´ goal for the same.

The party has issued a circular to its cadres, sister organizations and different committees to mark the national equity day by organizing a variety of programmes, it is stated in a press release issued by the party. RSS
