Chaudhary to invest US$ 75 million in Sri lanka.

Kathmandu, May 21 – A famous Industrialist and a Billionaire of US$ 1 billion, Binod Chaudhary, is planning to set up cement industry in Sri Lanka. He has planned to launch cement plant of cash equal to US$ 75 million.

 

Binod Chaudhary who heads the business house was recently added by Forbes Magazine in its Billionaire List. Chaudhary has proposed Srilanka government to permit himto open cement industry in Jaffna of srilanka.

 

The Chaudhary Group had acquired a substantial stake in the Taj Lanka Hotels in the country in 2000. The company’s subsidiary Cinnovation has also entered into a partnership with the local Jetwing Group to build properties.
