Gold price drops by Rs 500

kathmandu, May 15 – The gold price has slipped by Rs. 500 onTuesday. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (NEGOSIDA), gold was traded at Rs. 51,700 per tola (11.664 gram) yesterday, and after the fall in price, it is being traded at Rs. 51,200 on Wednesday.
The day before yesterday on Monday the price decreased by Rs. 100 per tola, and reached Rs. 51,600
On the rising side, on Sunday, the prices increased by Rs. 300 per tola taking it just Rs.100 shy of the Rs. 52 k mark.
Last month the gold price took a nose dive of Rs 6,300 per tola in a span of two days. Since then, the price has been on the slower side either way rise and fall.
Likewise, the price of silver has also dropped by Rs.10 per tola— making it Rs. 890 on Wednesday from Rs. 900 as of Tuesday’s price.
In the international market, the yellow metal is being traded USD 1,411.54 per ounce (29.35 gram) on Wednesday.
