Stock market makes slight gain

Kathmandu, May 13 – The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 5.32 points, reaching 488.73 points on Monday with all the sub-indices posting positive growth.
Insurance group posted highest growth of 17.04 points while 'others' increased by 9.39 points, hydropower 9.09 points, banking 5.35 points, hotels 2.27 points, development bank 1.29 points and finance 0.56 points.
The capital market had lost 2.87 points on Sunday.
Similarly, the index dipped 1.71 points over last week to settle at 486.24 points on Thursday from Sunday’s 487.95 points over last week.
