Araniko Highway obstructed
Bhaktapur, May 10 – The Nepal Transport Independent Workers' Organisation closed the Araniko Highway for one-hour on Friday.
The organisation closed the traffic along the highway from 10:00 am saying the government neglected its 33-point demands.
At a corner meeting, Bhaktapur In-charge of the organisation, Mohan Rokka, said that they closed the highway for one-hour as per the third phase agitation of the organisation.
He also warned of launching more stern programmes if the government did not address their demands.
The organisation has put forth 33-point demands including taxi fare be fixed on the basis of price hike, excesses of police be stopped and arrangement be made for social security. RSS
