Nepal defeats Malaysia by 7 wickets

Kathmandu, May 8 – Nepal defeated host Malaysia by seven wickets to secure fourth consecutive victory in their last Group ‘B’ match of the ACC U-19 Elite Cup 2013 played at Kinrara Academy Oval, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Wednesday.
In the first inning, Avinash Karn alone grabbed six wickets and Bhuvan Karki took two wickets to restrict Malaysia to a paltry 69 runs in 22.4 overs. Dhivendran Mogan scored 22 runs, the innings highest, for Malaysia.
In reply, Nepal easily reached the target in 24.4 overs scoring 70 runs with the loss of three wickets as Harishankar Shah hit 28 runs and Bibhatsu D Thapa scored 17 runs.
