Electronic library established at chitwan

Ratnanagar, May 4 – An electronic library has been established at Nepal Higher Secondary School in Ratnanangar, Chitwan, with the investment of Rs 2.3 million.
Chief Secretary of the Government Leela Mani Poudyal inaugurated the e-library amid a function here today.
Inaugurating the library, Poudyal hoped the library would be a milestone for academic and intellectual excellence of the students of the region.
He also urged the school administration to take special measures to curb the misuse of the e-library. The Nepal Higher Secondary School is one of the largest schools in Chitwan in terms of students' number.
The Chief Secretary also made commitments to help support for the library from his side.President of Non-Resident Nepalis Association Jiba Lamichhane helped construct the two-storey building for the library.
Principal of Nepal Higher Secondary School Gopal Acharya said Lamichhane helped construct the building at Rs 2 million and purchased goods worth Rs 300,000 to establish the e-library.The library owns altogether 17 computers and a separate library too. RSS
