Illegal weapons collected in Dang

Tulsipur, May 4 – The District Police Office, Dang, has collected altogether 385 illegally kept weapons.
Organising a news conference here today, Chief of Dang Police Lokendra Bahadur Malla said the highest number of weapon was collected from Gadawa of Deukhuri region. Locals have submitted a total of 141 illegally kept weapons from Deukhuri region.
Earlier, no weapon was collected during a month in the district despite the formal call of the Ministry of Home Affairs. However, the arms possessors handed over the arms after the Ministry extended the deadline for submitting illegally kept weapons. RSS
