Increased supply leads to fall in chicken price

Kathmandu, May 4 – The price of chicken has set a falling price in Kathmandu.the price has decreased due to increased supply.
Meat shops in the capital are selling chicken at up to Rs 285 a kg. Prices have been hovering around Rs 300 per kg since February. The country has been self-reliant in chicken for the last three years but frequent bird flu outbreaks have discouraged farmers.
