Dahal set to visit India next week

Kathmandu,April 23 – UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who returned from China trip on April 20, is now planning to visit India.
The former prime minister is set to leave for New Delhi on a whirlwind India visit sometime next week, it is learnt.
During his third trip to India, Dahal is scheduled to parley with top Indian leaders and government officials and discuss Nepal-India ties and various bilateral issues, according to reports.
He had raised a few eyebrows in the Indian establishment when he visited China immediately after becoming prime minister in 2008, thus breaking the tradition of visiting India before embarking on any foreing trip.
