NEPSE index plunged by 2.36 points
Kathmandu, April 21 – The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index plunged by 2.36 points to settle at 519.03 points on Thursday from Monday’s 521.39 points.
The secondary market’s turnover increased by 21.23 points to Rs. 366.6 million last week compared to the previous week. Of the total turnover, A category companies witnessed a turnover of Rs. 223.3 million which is 60.92 percent of the total turnover.
As per the sub-indices, commercial banks lost 7.27 points, hydropower 3.85 points, finance 1.23 points, insurance 1.24 points and development banks 0.93 points.
