President Ram Baran Yadav affected by Quake News in China

Kathmandu, April 21 – President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has said that he is deeply affected by the news of big loss of life and property, and massive destruction in saturdays quake at China.

 

At this hour of grief , on behalf of the people of Nepal and on my own, I would like to extend our heartiest condolences and sympathy to Your Excellency and through you to the people of China and members of the bereaved families," President stated in a message to his Chinese counterpart Mr. Xi Jinping, state-owned news agency RSS reported.

 

Similarly, Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Khil Raj Regmi, in a message to Premier of the People's Republic of China Mr. Li Keqiang, stated that he is deeply shocked to learn about the huge loss of life and property and injury to thousands of people caused by the devastating earthquake that struck the southwestern Sichuan province there.

 

Extending deep condolences and sympathy to the Chinese Premier and through him to the government and the people of China and the members of the bereaved families, on behalf of the government and the people of Nepal and on his own, Chairman Regmi expressed solidarity and support to the government and the people of China at this hour of grief.
