Bhattarai stresses on holding CA elections

Tanahun, April 17 – Former Prime Minister and Vice Chairman of the Unified CPN (Maoist) Dr. Baburam Bhattarai said the Constituent Assembly (CA) elections should be held at any cost to institutionalize democratic republic in the country.
Speaking at a press conference organized by the Revolutionary Journalists Association in Tanahun here on Wednesday, he said it was an attack against democracy to prevent elections on any pretext.
"Support from all quarters is necessary on holding CA election s," said the former Prime Minister.
He said it has not been possible to hold elections on June 21 and that it should be held by mid-November by bringing on board the dissenting parties including the CPN-Maoist. RSS
