Nepal drawn in Group B in ACC U-19 Elite Cup

Kathmandu,April 9 – Nepal have been drawn alongside host Malaysia, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait in Group B in the upcoming ACC U-19 Elite Cup to be held from May 3 to 11 in Malaysia.
According to the draw published by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on Monday, Afghanistan, Hong Kong, the UAE, Thailand and Saudi Arabia are in Group A.
Only one team from the ACC U-19 will join the UAE in the ICC U19 World Cup Qualifier in early 2014 in the Emirates. As the UAE have already qualified for the World Cup as the host country, the runner-up of ACC U-19 Elite Cup will qualify for the World Cup if the UAE wins the tournament.
Nepal will take against Kuwait in their inaugural match first match on May 3 while Qatar on May 5, Bahrain on May 6 and Malaysia on May 8.
