15 micro hydro projects constructed in Myagdi

Myagdi, March 28 – Myagdi district is getting new 15 micro hydro projects.These hydro projects have been constructed by the District Development Committee (DDC), Myagdi to promote renewable energy.

The District Energy and Environment Section office, Myagdi said that 311 Kilowatt power has been generated from the projects constructed in Chimkhola, Arman, Niskot, Ruma, Okharkot, Devisthan, Bim , Muna, Marang and Lulang VDCs.

Ranjan Adhikari, an officer at the DDC´s Energy and Environment Section said that some 224 families have been benefited from the hydro projects . RSS
