President appoints another Regmi as Attorney General

Kathmandu,March 25-
President Ram Baran Yadav has appointed former Deputy Attorney General Drona Raj Regmi as the country's Attorney General.
The decision to appoint Regmi as the government's chief legal adviser and chief prosecutor was taken as per Article 134 (1) of Interim Constitution, the Office of the President said in a statement.
The post had remained vacant after Mukti Pradhan put in his papers following the dissolution of the Baburam Bhattarai-led government.
