Price of salt goes up

KATHMANDU,JULY 3: The Salt Trading Corporation Limited has increased the price of salt. The cost of Aayo Nun, or iodized salt, has risen by Rs 3 per kilogram, with the new price taking effect from yesterday midnight.
As a result, a one-kilogram packet of Aayo Nun will now cost Rs 26, up from the previous price of Rs 23. Additionally, the price of New Shakti salt has been raised to Rs 20 per kilogram from Rs 17. Bhanu Nun is now priced at Rs 9 per kilogram.
