President of Dwarika's Hotels Ambika no more

KATHMANDU, JULY 18: President of Dwarika's Hotels and Resorts, Ambika Shrestha, has passed away today at the age of 91. She breathed her last at Medicity Hospital in Lalitpur, where she had been undergoing medical treatment for pneumonia for the last two months. According to family sources, her last rites will be performed at the Pashupatinath Temple in the capital tomorrow.
Shrestha began leading the hotel business in 1991 after the death of her husband, Dwarika Shrestha.
Born in Darjeeling, India, she received her secondary education at St. Joseph's. Ambika was also serving as the honorary Consulate General of Spain for Nepal.
