Prices of petroleum products go down

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 1: The Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the prices of petroleum products effective from today. Issuing a press release yesterday, the NOC shared that the price of petrol has decreased by Rs 1 per litre and diesel and kerosene oil by Rs 2 per litre. The price of aviation fuel remains unchanged.
Following the price decrease, petrol costs Rs 167 per litre, and diesel and kerosene oil Rs 155 per litre in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amalekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj.
In Surkhet and Dang, petrol is priced at Rs 169 per litre, while diesel and kerosene oil cost Rs 157 per litre.
Likewise, the price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 170 per litre, and diesel and kerosene oil at Rs 158 per litre in Pokhara, Kathmandu, and Dipayal.
