'SEBON committed to protecting interest of investors'

KATHMANDU, AUGUST 2: Nabaraj Adhikari, the Executive Director of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), highlighted the critical role of the stock market in supporting economic growth and affirmed SEBON's commitment to protecting investors' interests.
Speaking at the 12th-anniversary ceremony of NIMB Ace Capital Limited yesterday, Adhikari mentioned SEBON's efforts to address fiscal management companies' concerns while regulating securities and related activities. He praised the recent monetary policy by the central bank, which aims to invigorate the stock market, especially by removing the Rs 200 million cap on institutional share traders.
Former chief secretary Bimal Koirala emphasized the need for a secure and reliable stock trading system.
Shivanth Bahadur Pande, CEO of NIMB Ace Capital Limited, discussed the company's focus on capital mobilization through public offerings to foster economic and social development. Pande reiterated the institution's dedication to the nation's prosperity by providing high-quality financial services.
